Forum: Join the Home Cultivation Committee To Comment On New York’s Proposed Home Grow Rules
Registration Now Closed For January 11th Virtual NYCCIA-HVCIA Meeting 5:30-7:00 PM
The Home Cultivation Committee of the New York City Cannabis Industry Association and the Hudson Valley Cannabis Industry Association is inviting you to a discussion about the proposed home cultivation regulations in New York.
The new rules are good but they could be improved, especially for people with the most severe medical need for cannabis. Proposed limitations could unduly and needlessly restrict access to affordable medicine grown by caregivers and medical home cultivators. Further, the regulations do not identify where home cultivators can access seeds and clones, and may impact the ability and people’s options to access legal seeds. We have an opportunity now to comment on the proposed regulations so that we can overcome such obstacles and help to create a smoother path to a successful cannabis garden.
Join us to learn how you can ask the Office of Cannabis Management and the Cannabis Control Board to amend the proposed rules to increase access to cannabis for our friends and neighbors who are most in need of its medicine, to ensure affordable access to seeds, and to protect the rights of all New Yorkers to grow at home into the future.
Please note that the meeting will be recorded and that video and images of the meeting may be used on our website.
